Due Date!

Hmm... well today is my due date and Noah has made no move. I think he is planning on staying till college. Ive been walking blocks everyday, eating spicy foods, chasing my two year old, and even GARDENING! lol... So what are your tricks for labor inducing?

. Predictions .

So.... I am {unfortunately} still pregnant. I am definitely not one of those women who enjoys being pregnant. I do not glow... So I thought I would distract myself from this eternity of fertility by taking some predictions from my beloved blogging friends!

So here are some ponderings for you....

1. Date of eminent arrival? Due date is May 5th.... Eli was 2 weeks LATE!

2. Size of soon to be bundle? Eli was rather large... 9 pounds 9 oz. I do feel smaller this time....

3. Duration of glorious labor? Eli was a dreaded 40 HOURS long... I'm praying for an Erica-ish labor this time.

4. Hair/Eye colorings? Eli is a blue eyed, blonde bombshell. :)

hmmmm. maybe a prize of sorts for people who come the closest in the end.... :D

Happy Birthday Gramma Pearl!

We are very foutunate to be celebrating another birthday celebration with Eric's grandmother. She has had a round of bad luck concerning her health latley and we were so excited to have her 81st birthday celebration at our house on Saturday. She was so happy to have her family come all the way from Utah and Nevada to visit us.

A Boy & His Dog

So as many of you saw in December, Eli got a puppy for Christmas this year. Only to have him stolen from us a month later. We put up posters all over our neighborhood and made reports to the animal control and sherriff's department. We looked and looked and eventually gave up, hoping that he was found by a nice family and was being well taken care of.

A couple of weeks ago we recieved a knock on the door from some neighborhood kids that found a dog and remebered that we had lost our puppy. I was completely astounded. He was gone for almost 4 months only to be found around the CORNER? So we brought him in and had him identified by his microchip in his shoulder. So aparently some little kid around the corner brought him home and his parents decided to let him keep the dog. Even though they KNEW he was ours. Im just a little upset by this.

So, not sure what action to take or to just ignore these RUDE people.

Surgery?? eeek....

So I took Eli to the peditrician today because I thought he was experiancing some seasonal allergies like his father and I both suffer from. Wellll..... come to find out he does have allergies, as well as asthma, exema, AND his 4th ear infection in 6 months.

So that means he gets to go see an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist to have tubes put in his ears.

Grrr. Both of my brothers have had numerous tubes inserted into their eardrums only to have them fall out repeatedly and in the end still end up with 80% hearing loss on one side and 30% loss on the other. Needless to say I am not a fan of "tubes". Plus his consult for the sugery is the day after MY DUE DATE!

I've had requests for pictures of my belly... so here it is! I really hate pictures of myself, but I figured it was needed for documentation and family that lives far away.

. Binki Woes .

Okay mommies... help me out!

Eli is now two 1/2 and he still HAS TO HAVE his "binki". It is not hindering his ablity to talk... actually he wiill tell you his whole life story if you have time to listen lol. He is only allowed to have it at bedtime... but there lies the problem. He WILL NOT sleep without it. Heaven forbid I actually misplace the thing. He freaks out so bad he just about hyperventilates. Also I have noticed it is starting to create an "open bite" in his teeth, where when he closes his teeth the top and bottom front teeth dont close all the way. Im ready to get rid of this thing!!

So how did you get your kiddos off the "binki habit"??
