Sad Day

Lets all take a moment of silence...

to mourn the loss

of naptime.

Eli has reached the point were he no longer

needs a nap in the afternoon.

I need the naptime quiet.

But he doesnt.

.

After an hour and a half of fighting with him to go to sleep

and then he only taking a 30 minute snooze...

I decided it just isnt worth the trouble anymore.

The other day we got some licorice that turned out to be really stale.

I thought heck since I cant bite though it we should see what Noah does with it.

HE LOVED IT!!

He also looked like he was in the Ghost Busters movie and got slimed.

Home Work

So we got new pretty couches with our tax returns this year. When I got home it began to severely bother me that the colors of our living room walls were not going to be very symbiotic with our couches. So I painted. : )

Then when I was done with the painting it bothered me that we did not have ceiling moulding.

Another trip to the Home Depot later that bother-some problem was solved. With a trusty husband to stand on a ladder I now have new ceiling moulding.

Dang, now my carpet looks so dingy compared to my freshly adorned walls.

Time to break out the shampooer.

Am I nesting? No... Im calling it "early spring cleaning"

My Little Girl.

Now that I know we are having a little sister

I can unleash the decorating and ideas Ive been holding back.

{Im so stoked}

So Im thinking birds.

Avery means bird-like so I thinks it fits...

Im also shying away from pink. Actually I kinda hate pink.

So sky blue walls and white & green bedding it is... : )

Maybe one or two of the bird sillhoettes will be pinkish...

Okay... Off to nest now...
