Wyoming or Bust?

So a few weeks back Eric received an offer from a welding company that bids on jobs across the country and sends qualified welders out to those jobs. He originally thought we would be going to Las Vegas, but that was a little up in the air. The bid hasn't gone through yet and we wern't sure if it was going to happen.
So heres my dilemma, Eric got a "for sure" offer last night for a job in WYOMING! He would be making quadruple the salary he makes now and it would last 8 months. I have to decide soon because we have to be there in less than TWO WEEKS! hmmmm....

I think you could deal with the cold to get quadruple the money. I say go for it. You'll regret it if you don't.

When Than and I moved to Michigan we were scared and didn't really know if it was the perfect thing for our little family to do, but it ended up being one of the best things ever. WE loved it. Loved michigan, loved the people, loved all of our "growing experiences" (well, at least appreciate them now). I think it's a good thing to move away for people to grow up...not that you're not adults, but it gives you a chance to see what you're really about without the help of your family. Laura would be sad without you, but it's only a car drive away. If it's right for your family, it'll all work out. NOt so say it won't be sad...it will. And you'll probably hate it at first. But when you give it time, you'll make good life long friends and be glad you made that decision. Okay, I think i've given more than my two cents. :)
