Wyoming or Bust?

So a few weeks back Eric received an offer from a welding company that bids on jobs across the country and sends qualified welders out to those jobs. He originally thought we would be going to Las Vegas, but that was a little up in the air. The bid hasn't gone through yet and we wern't sure if it was going to happen.

So heres my dilemma, Eric got a "for sure" offer last night for a job in WYOMING! He would be making quadruple the salary he makes now and it would last 8 months. I have to decide soon because we have to be there in less than TWO WEEKS! hmmmm....

This is AnnaBelle.

Everyone else calls her Anna, but Eli refuses to call her by anything but her whole name. They have had almost weekly playdates since before they could crawl. They are the best of buddies. I hope they remember all the fun they had as kids when they grow up. Jumping on beds, drawing on my living room walls, riding scooters, trick or treating, sharing snacks. Its very endearing to watch them say goodbye at the end of a playdate. It always ends with a giant hug and a kiss on the cheek for AnnaBelle.

Boo-kas...

Eli became obsessed with this blue, bumpy, silky, blanket when he was about 5 months old. He calls it "boo-ka" because he couldnt say blanket. Now it seems Noah has made his choice. He has "puppy booka". Its one of those little blankets with a stuffed animal head. He sleeps with it cluched in his little hands as if it will just float away while he is dreaming. I love that my babies have these items of comfort. Hopefully I can keep these childhood friends long after they've "out grown" them. Maybe their babies will want them someday. That makes me happy

Vegas Anyone??

I have lived my entire life in one town... the farthest Ive been from home is Reno. I know its awful, my boring existence here in Oroville. BUT last week Eric received an offer for a job in LAS VEGAS from a friend who is a traveling pipe welder. He makes a ton of money and its actually safer and easier that what Eric does now. It would not be a permanent move, but if we did this Eric could take off the rest of the year and really dig into school (hes working toward a Physical Therapy Degree)

Im just thrilled to live somewhere NEW! So we should know by the end of the month whether or not we are going. Im crossing my fingers...
